Refund & Cancellation Policy

Free content stays free. For any paid product we may offer, you have a 14-day refund window on anything you haven't substantially used, and you can cancel a subscription at any time.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy describes the conditions under which Arudy-Tourisme LLC ("Arudy", "we") provides refunds for paid services and subscriptions purchased through arudy-tourisme.com. Free content, including the daily newsletter and public route articles, is not subject to this policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to any paid product or service offered by Arudy, including but not limited to premium content subscriptions, downloadable guides, and consulting sessions. It does not apply to third-party services (flights, accommodation, tours) booked through partner links — those are governed by the terms of the respective provider.
2. Cancellation windows
- Subscriptions (monthly or annual) — you may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.
- One-time purchases (downloadable guides, single articles) — these are considered delivered immediately upon successful payment.
- Consulting and custom services — cancellation must be requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are subject to a 50% fee.
3. Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a refund in the following situations:
- Within 14 days of purchase if the digital product has not been substantially accessed or downloaded.
- If the service was not delivered as described.
- If technical issues on our side prevent you from accessing what you paid for, and we cannot resolve them within a reasonable timeframe.
- Where required by your local consumer protection laws.
4. Non-refundable items
- Downloadable PDF guides and digital content that have been fully downloaded.
- Subscription periods already elapsed.
- Completed consulting sessions.
- Promotional or discounted purchases marked as final sale.
5. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days. The funds typically appear on your original payment method within 5 to 10 additional business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We will email you a confirmation when the refund is issued.
6. How to request a refund
Email us at billing@arudy-tourisme.com with the following:
- Your full name and the email used at purchase.
- Order number or transaction reference.
- Reason for the refund request.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. We may ask follow-up questions to evaluate eligibility.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your access to the service while the dispute is reviewed. Please contact us first — it is faster, and we almost always resolve the issue in your favor.
8. Force majeure
Arudy is not liable for failures or delays in delivering paid services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, internet outages, or third-party service failures. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative or partial refund in such cases.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply only to purchases made after the change is posted.
10. EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on most online purchases. By starting to consume digital content (downloading a guide, streaming a paid article) within that 14-day window, you may waive this right — we will always disclose this at checkout before you confirm payment.
11. Partial refunds and credits
In some situations — for example, a serious service outage that affected only part of your subscription — we may offer a pro-rated partial refund or a credit toward a future purchase, at your choice. We try to default to whichever option leaves you better off.
